actually at the the rate of a million times oversampling. You could actually increase the delay time by adding additional chips as well.some Lexicon units allowed for this as well. It contains a complete analog mixer and filter section and the delay time itself is created by using chips. It is not a “ software” based delay ( though software runs some of the functions) that converts the dry sound and then manipulates it in the digital realm. Of course the delay is extremely high quality but it was designed to function in a studio environment like all/most of the earlier rack pieces.
